Rotary Club of Windsor-Roseland’s Scholarships and Bursaries

The Rotary Club of Windsor-Roseland is a long-time supporter of youth in our community, funding scholarships and bursaries for students in the Windsor-Essex area. Supporting the educational endeavours and developing the leadership potential of our youth encourages the development of strong, involved and productive citizens of the future.

 

Rotary Club of Windsor-Roseland University of Windsor Bursary

Two $1,000 bursaries are awarded each year…one to a graduating student from Vincent Massey Secondary School and one to a graduating student from Holy Names High School who plans to attend the University of Windsor.

Students must have a graduating average of 70% and demonstrate a financial need as well as be involved in extracurricular activities and/or student government and/or community service.

How to apply: Applications are available at the Guidance Offices of V. Massey S. S. and Holy Names H.S.  Application deadline is June 30th

Roseland Rotary Club Scholarship at St. Clair College

A $1,000 scholarship is awarded each year to a student who is attending St. Clair College.  The student must be a resident of Ontario, demonstrate financial need, be enrolled full-time in any program at the college, achieve a grade point average of 2.5 or higher and have extensive volunteer experience.

How to apply: St. Clair College students apply online through the College’s Student Information System (SIS) from Oct 1st to Dec. 20th

Dr. Dan Liliac Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship is presented by the Friends of Dan Liliac in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Windsor-Roseland to a Vincent Massey Secondary School graduate who is going on to the University of Windsor.  The student receives $1,000 and must have at least a 70% average and be involved in extracurricular activities and/or student government and/or community service.

How to apply: V. Massey S. S. students apply at their school’s Guidance Office by June 15th.

ATHENA Scholarship Fund (Windsor)

The Rotary Club of Windsor-Roseland has supported this scholarship program since its inception in 2000.  Each student receives a $5,000 scholarship and must be a full-time student at a college or university and has spent a considerable time in the Windsor-Essex County area. They must excel academically, help women to achieve their full potential, demonstrate leadership and be actively involved in community service.

How to apply: Applications are available online by Feb. 1st with a due date of April 30th  through the following links below:
