Argentina Neonatal Unit

Argentina

In 2012, the Rotary Club of Windsor-Roseland partnered with the Rotary Club of Bragado, Argentina on the installation of a Neonatal Unit in its regional hospital. The partnership between the two clubs was spearheaded during a 2010 visit to Argentina by Windsor-Roseland Rotary Past President Darren Winger and former Youth Exchange student Juan Cajerville.

The two clubs were successful in securing a Global Grant from Rotary International to complete the project, which was opened on Easter weekend in April 2012. This was the first significant grant for the Rotary Club of Bragado as the Neonatal unit serves a large rural area 3 hours SW of Buenos Aires.
